A daydream travel between real and imaginary, steel and concrete, clouds and smoke. Filming in east London’s redeveloped area of Docklands, and mainly from the computer-controlled Docklands Light Railway (DLR) trains, I discovered an odd and magnificent sense of freedom in controlling time and movement. The lonely industrial landscape also appealed to me in its sterile beauty, and led to the further visual deconstruction of the different elements within it.
